ABOUT US
The first time I climbed outdoors was in 2009 with some friends of mine who were actually "climbers". After that I climbed a handful of times until 2014 when the bug bit me and a new world opened up. Things got really serious not because of climbing at a gym but because of all the time I was spending in the mountains of Alaska while I was backpacking, exploring, and hunting both Dall's sheep and Mountain Goats. I wanted to learn to be more competent and skilled in the steep environments I was spending so much time in. So I started climbing, at the local gyms, outdoors and the 24' wall I built at home. I tried everything and the more types of climbing I tried the more I realized I loved every moment spent during my vertical pursuits.
During the last decade I've developed my skillset to encompass all disciplines of climbing (rock, ice, mixed and mountaineering) and enjoy it all from the technical art of big multipitch trad climbs to the strength, focus and comradery of sport climbing at the crag, as well as the mental and physical toughness one must posses on alpine ice climbs and in the remote mountains of Alaska.
I began my journey guiding in hopes to pass my knowledge and the knowledge of those who mentored me to you and help you begin or progress your own vertical pursuit!
